I told Cora last night that I bought her one of MY favorite books as a child and we could read it together (Little House in the Big Woods - the first "Little House on the Prairie" book). She asked what it was about and I told her it was about a family who lived a long, long time ago when our country was very new. Her response:
Cora: So before cars?
Me: Yes! They used wagons pulled by horses. There were no roads!
Cora: Before radios even?
Me: Before radios, ipads - even ELECTRICITY!
Cora: OH MY GOSH! Before SELFIES even???
Cora: So before cars?
