I thought I'd include some of my favorite Cora Pronunciations:
Hippinoponomous
Calerpiller or Caterpitter
Flums (thumbs)
Mo-nin (morning)
Hand-ban (band aid)
My kids seem to indeed say the darnedest things. I would often post these as Facebook statuses but realized that I should be doing something to save these for later. You know, so I can totally embarrass them in their teen years. I hope you enjoy these, but if not... I know I sure will!

Cora: {from the other room} Mom - I just spit up!
Me: You what?
Cora: I just spit up!
Me: {walking into the room} Where honey?
Cora: In my mouth!
Me: You what now?
Cora: I spit up a little bit into my mouth.

Catch up!
Ok so I've been slacking lately. No my child has not suddenly gone mute - but between a newborn, a full time job, a family and travel its been all I can do to remember my own name. So here are a few of the good ones that stuck with me:
Cora: Mom - you knucklehead! {after I apparently did something terribly silly}
Two weeks ago we went back to Virginia for my family's annual reunion. This is the first year Cora was really aware of all of what was going on - but yet she was still young enough to be confused. She did NOT like the hotel and couldn't understand each night why we didn't go home. Finally - she sadly asked me while getting ready for bed:
Cora: Mom, do we live here now?
Poor thing~!
My little negotiator tonight while trying to get me to swing candy Orange Slices for her snack:
Cora: Mommy, have I ever steered you wrong?
